Who needs Netflix...said no one ever!

If you are anything myself, a recent graduate looking for jobs you are also spending a larger portion of your time on Netflix. There's nothing wrong with that! You're being productive while enjoying wonderfully crafted television shows that you don't have to impatiently wait for on regular tv. Honestly i think the creator of Netflix is a genius, he has revolutionized the idea of "on-demand" and I couldn't be happier (or lazier). Since I've had all this free time I feel like I can consider myself a Netflix expert? Is that a thing? Just kidding! I'm no expert but I do have a few favorite shows that I think you'll will love!

1. How I Met Your Mother- This is my all time favorite show! My friends (shoutout to Nicole and Tracy) were raving about this show! At the time I wasn't really interested because I was busy catching up on the Vampire Diaries and when I was done there was a void *tear.* One night I went to visit my friends and they were watching it, so I decided to stick around and watch an episode with them. Thus beginning my addiction to this show! I have now seen every episode and I'm restarting. I love watching Barney evolve from this ladies man to a guy who has a heart and feelings. Don't get me started on Marshall, "Big Fudge say what?" I don't want to give up too many details, but go watch this show! There are nine amazing seasons of their crazy antics.

2. Scandal- I jumped on this bandwagon as soon as the series started. I never thought I'd be into political scandals, but this show turned me. Real political scandals are not as exciting as the scandals in this show, that's probably why this show is so interesting. This show literally gives me heart palpitations, there is so much backstabbing and corruptness going on in that government. There are some parts you don't want to watch but you just can't look away! And let me tell you, the relationship between Kerry Washington and Tony Goldwyn (aka Mr. President) is so crazy and a tad bit steamy...you'll love it!

3. New Girl- Where do I even begin with this show! First off Zoey DesChanel's character Jess is me! All the singing and awkwardness is pretty much how I go about life (in a sense). I love, love, love the relationship she has with her roommates! I'm pretty sure we all know a Schmidt (Jess's roommate), super OCD and totally into themselves. It cracks me up when they flashback to his college days! This show is so lighthearted you just can't get enough of their adorableness!

4. Orange Is The New Black- If you haven't heard of this show you've clearly been living under a rock. Sorry to be so harsh but this show is pure genius! This series is created by Jenji Kohan (creator of Weeds) and she is just amazing so I knew this show wouldn't be anything less! What a I love about this show is how they give you a look into each characters life before prison and what got them there. Some of their stories are so sad you could cry. This show has made quite the splash, thank god the series has been renewed for a third season! Did I mention that this is a Netflix Original?

5. House Of Cards- This is another Netflix original and I thought I would hate it. This is very similar to the concept of Scandal but there is no Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) cleaning up everyone's mess. The people in the White House are cleaning up messes that are slowly catching up with them and they WILL be discovered sooner or later. This is the kind of show that will have you yelling at your tv as if it'll reply, or is that just me? Let's just say I would never like to cross Francis Underwood (Kevin Spacey).

If you've seen any of these shows, which ones is your favorite?
